Ibrahim Jabawi
- Born in 1959 in Jasem, Daraa.
- Joined the police force on September 20, 1980, and rose through the ranks to Brigadier General in 2009.
- Served as Assistant Police Chief of Homs for Financial Affairs and Moral Guidance starting from July 1, 2009.
- Director of Syria al-Karama Channel in Amman, Jordan from November 1, 2012, to April 1, 2013.
- Director of the Syrian Media Commission from June 20, 2013, to December 1, 2017.
- Member of the Negotiation Commission and the Constitutional Committee since December 1, 2018.
- Former Director of the Media Office in the Negotiation Commission from January 1, 2019.
- Holds a Master’s degree in Media and Journalism from St. Clements University for Open Learning (2007).
- Holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy in Media and Journalism from St. Clements University for Open Learning (2010).
