The Syrian Negotiation Committee (SNC), with the support of the British Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), is implementing the SNC Strategic Communication Support Initiative. The aim of the initiative is to enhance the visibility of the SNC’s engagement on human rights, accountability, and the political process in reference to UNSCR 2254 vis-à-vis its Syrian constituency, Syrian civil society, and the international community.

In the context of this initiative, the SNC is seeking the services of an accredited organization that has a bank account to implement the following:

Organize two town hall meetings in north Syria on the following topics:

·       Truth Committees and its role in the translational justice process;

·       Reparation for detainees, people who forcibly disappeared and their families.

Attendance:

20 participants in each meeting including:

·       Representatives of victims, families of missing persons and survivors;

·       Representatives of civil society organizations including legal activists and women organizations;

·       Political representatives of the SNC;

·       Accountability and human rights experts;
