Hanadi Abu Arab
•Member of the Negotiation Commission for the Syrian Revolution and Opposition Forces. Deputy President from 23/11/2017 until 23/11/2018.
•Legal and human rights activist against Israeli occupation since the 1990s, participated in preparing the electronic document for the trial of Sharon.
•Participated in protests and publications (2003-2000) against the Iraq War and against involving Syrian youth in that war.
•Joined the Syrian revolution from the beginning and participated in forming the early units of the Free Syrian Army in Ghouta.
•Held the legal office of the Military Council of Damascus in 2012 and 2013 and is still the legal advisor for Free Army factions.
•Conducted and continues to conduct several educational and legal awareness campaigns on the principles and rules of international humanitarian law, preventing child and women marriage and recruitment, and prohibiting sexual violence.
•Has had various roles in the Syrian opposition over the past years and is currently a member of the Syrian Negotiation Commission, which is the broadest and largest gathering of opposition voices committed to the single goal of achieving real political transition for Syria.
