• Born in Al-Tal, Damascus countryside, in 1968.
• Earned a bachelor’s degree in dentistry from Moldova in 1999.
• Pursued postgraduate studies in political science and obtained a master’s degree in international relations in 2008.
• Served as an advisor to the president of the International University in Moldova.
• Held the position of honorary consul for the Syrian Arab Republic in Moldova for ten years.
• Fluent in Russian and English with extensive administrative experience.
• Announced his defection from the Syrian regime and joined the political opposition forces at the onset of the Syrian revolution.
• Participated in key Syrian opposition conferences, including the Antalya Conference and the Rescue Conference.
• Took part in the consultative meeting that led to the establishment of the Syrian National Council.
• Elected as a member of the General Secretariat of the National Council and served as the director of its education office.
• Contributed to the founding of the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces in 2012.
• Established the National Education Authority within the National Coalition and organized the first secondary school examinations in the liberated areas in 2012.
• Served as the Secretary-General of the Coalition from 2013 to 2014.
• Elected President of the Syrian Negotiation Commission in June 2022.
