The head of the SNC meets with the official in charge of the Syria file at the Netherlands Mission to the United Nations in Geneva
Discussions with the "Netherlands" to support justice and accountability issues

The head of the Syrian Negotiating Commission, Dr. Badr Jamous, appreciated the support of the Kingdom of the Netherlands for justice and accountability issues related to Syria, and the need to work to impose appropriate punishment on all those who committed crimes against Syrian citizens, most notably the Syrian regime.
He stressed the need to work to reactivate the Syrian political process in accordance with UN Resolution 2254 and other international resolutions.
This came during the meeting of the head of the Syrian Negotiating Commission, Dr. Badr Jamous, in Geneva with the official in charge of the Syria file at the Netherlands Mission to the United Nations Office in Geneva, Mr. Hein Peter Knegt, where the discussion addressed a number of issues related to European strategies towards Syria, and the need to develop them in a way that contributes to moving the political solution forward.
The head of the SNC touched on the tragic and dangerous conditions experienced by Syrian refugees in Lebanon, the great discrimination against them, and the dangers they are exposed to if they are forced to return to Syria, reviewing the living conditions of Syrians in general, and the necessity for the supporting countries to increase aid to all Syrian regions, especially the regions of northwestern Syria. Dr. Jamous reviewed international and regional developments, and the political and diplomatic plans and activities of the authority during the next stage at the Arab and international levels.
